Textbook Policy
Each student and their parents are responsible for the textbooks assigned to him/ her. If a book is lost and/ or damaged, you will need to pay for the replacement of that book or increments of $10.00 for damaged textbooks. Please be aware of the Education Code 48904 that states: Report Cards, Grades, Diplomas, and Transcripts may be withheld from all students who owe debts for items that were not returned in the same condition in which they were borrowed. Parents/ Guardians will be notified in writing of students’ alleged debt before the withholding of said items. Parents, please be aware that some teachers may provide space for your child to store books in their classrooms. If your child chooses this option, he/she/you are still financially responsible for the books; not the teacher or school. ALL TEXTBOOKS MUST HAVE A BOOK COVER.

Cada uno de los estudiantes y sus padres son responsables por los libros que se le han asignado. Si un libro se pierde y/o dañados, tendrá que pagar por la sustitución de ese libro o incrementos de $10,00 libros dañados. Por favor, tenga en cuenta el Código de Educación 48904 que dice: Las calificaciones, grados, Diplomas, transcripciones y podrá ser retenido de todos los alumnos que adeudan a los elementos de los que no se devuelve en el mismo estado en que fueron prestados. Los padres/tutores serán notificados por escrito de los estudiantes la supuesta deuda antes de la retención de dichos temas. Los padres de familia, por favor, tenga en cuenta que algunos profesores pueden proporcionar espacio para su hijo para almacenar libros en sus aulas. Si su hijo escoge esta opción, él/ella/usted sigue siendo financieramente responsables de los libros; no al profesor o a la escuela. TODOS LOS LIBROS DEBEN TENER UNA TAPA DE LIBRO.
