On a bright and joyful morning, Paramount Park Middle School celebrated its eighth-grade promotion ceremony on the baseball field of Paramount High School’s West Campus. The event welcomed families, friends, and community members to honor students' hard work and growth as they move on to high school.
Hosted by Principal Pete Loaiza and Assistant Principal Anna Yasuhara, the ceremony celebrated the achievements of all students, with special recognition for those who have made remarkable progress as English Learners—a moving acknowledgment of their dedication, courage, and growing voice in a second language.
With the dignity of a graduation-style ceremony—minus the caps and gowns—students walked across the stage cheered on by loved ones. The message was clear: take the energy and determination that got you here and carry it boldly into high school.
After the ceremony, families reunited with their students on the Paramount Park campus for photos, hugs, and farewells—marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Paramount Park Middle School continues to be a place where music, STEM, art, and athletics flourish—anchored by Paramount Unified School District’s commitment to inclusion, academic excellence, and a deep love of learning.
