Paramount Park Middle School proudly hosted its Spring CEOS Festival this May, spotlighting the entrepreneurial spirit of its students. The CEOS program—Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities for Students—is a unique, school-based initiative that teaches students the fundamentals of running a small business. From product development and branding to budgeting, time management, and profit strategies, CEOS provides hands-on learning experiences under the guidance of dedicated mentors.
Launched in 2022, CEOS began as a creative solution to address campus behavior by transforming unsanctioned student sales into a structured and educational opportunity. What started as a behavioral intervention has since evolved into a celebrated tradition, empowering students to channel their creativity into real-world business models.
This year, students participated in two CEOS sessions, culminating in vibrant market events at the Winter Festival in December and the Spring Festival in May. In a celebration of community and talent, the festivals also featured live performances from the Paramount Park Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra, making the nights unforgettable for families and students alike.
CEOS exemplifies Paramount Unified School District’s commitment to fostering innovation, leadership, and lifelong learning in a supportive and dynamic environment.
